If I have signed a DEP (Delayed Entry Program) contract, can I get out of it?
The Delayed Entry Program (sometimes called the "Delayed Enlistment Program" or DEP) is an enlistment program used by the military which allows active duty to be delayed almost a year. It is possible to avoid enlistment if you have signed a DEP contract. If you have signed a DEP contract and have changed your mind and do not want to enter the military, it is simple to end the contract. Learn more.

If I have been discharged, do I have to report for IRR (Individual Ready Reserve) recall?
Discharged? You may not have to report for involuntary activation from the IRR. Download the pamphlet "Resisting Recall from the Individual Ready Reserve (IRR)" (a 124 KB PDF document) for more information, or learn more at the Courage to Resist web site.
